Zoning with the hens

I spent about half an hour today just watching the chickens. It's so.... relaxing. Here, you can try.

The one who keeps staring at the camera is Martha, a golden-laced Wyandotte; the small one near the back is Dolley, a barred Plymouth Rock; and the black and white one who just appears at the beginning of the clip is Abigail, a silver-laced Wyandotte.

I love the chicken video!!! It is relaxing watching them. They turned into real live grown up chickens so quickly. Very fun. Does the rooster make much noise?

No, we don't have a rooster - at least I don't think so. It's still too early to tell. I don't think there are any silent roosters out there, so if one turns out to be a rooster we'll have to find him a new home.

That's gorgeous! I am about to move to a new house with my partner (our first place together!) and my little girl - we have big plans for a vegetable garden and chickens!
